It all started when…

Our AMD 321 class was assigned a project to design a 24”x24” scarf that would be printed in the Iowa State Digital Textile Design Studio and eventually sold in the Memorial Union Bookstore. The theme for the contest was “Native Plants of Iowa”. I created several designs, but this one easily became by favorite. It was originally named Partridge Pea Please due to the motif but I ended up changing it to The Glass Prairie to fit my overall theme. I loved the design, and it turns out that many others did too.
