This was my Final Project from AMD 321. I worked with a partner to develop a children’s wear line with original prints, knits, and garment silhouettes using Lectra Kaledo software. We chose the children’s wear brand Carter’s because we felt they represent the energetic feeling and whimsicality of children’s clothing. These prints were based off of friendly panda bears faces and oriental motifs. We designed several ensembles that fit our target market and brand aesthetic.

Original prints. Panda face and bamboo motifs were developed in Adobe Illustrator and inserted into Kaledo Print for editing into repeats
Original Knits. Panda faces were inserted into Kaledo Knit and corrected to fit the knit structure. Notice how the color of the cable knit matches the blush marks on each panda’s cheek.
